The Pierre-Péladeau Chair of Leadership awarded Laurence Orillard, CHRP, Talent and Organization Development Consultant, and Wendellyn Reid, Associate Professor in the Department of Management at HEC Montréal, for excellence in the writing of the case Andrei Feher and the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra: A leadership rooted in the profession1. The theme chosen for this second edition of the Leadership Case Writing Competition was entitled ‘Art and Leadership’. In addition to this first prize of $ 2,500, the jury has reserved the right to award a special mention in the amount of $1,000 to Sébastien St-Hilaire, M.Sc. student at HEC Montréal, for the writing of the case Dominique Champagne, banging on his nail2.
